What we’re about
This a brand new meetup aimed solely at Graphic Designers working in London (set up date: October 14th 2011).
Ok, have decided to take the bull by the horns and set-up my own group in the hope of creating a small but 'active' Graphic Designer community in London.
There have been a couple of reasons that have prompted me to act: Firstly, as a freelance Graphic Designer i believe it's really important to remain connected to my industry peers so as to share ideas, knowledge and experiences. And secondly, in recent months I have been rather disappointed with the inactive and poor quality Graphic Design groups via this site - and felt it was time to do better!
Aim for the group
• explore the latest design events and exhibitions in London
• learn, support and expand our knowledge by coming together as a creative community
• network and collaborate on projects
• have fun, share a few drinks and make some new friends along the way
Whilst the group grows over the coming weeks, i'll begin to make suggestions on what we can do and where we can meet. In the meantime if other members have ideas of their own please get suggesting / posting!
