MARCEL LUCONT
As seen on BBC3’s Russell Howard’s Good News, Live At The Electric and Sky Atlantic’s Set List, Marcel Lucont is the best French comedian playing in Britain, if you don’t believe this, you can ask him yourself. Marcel has entertained the world with his wry observations, bawdy chansons and top-class sex poetry, and is the author of the superb book "What We French Think Of You British... And Where You Are Going Wrong" (New Holland Publishers). Witness Marcel’s majestic musings on mortality, masculinity and most importantly, himself, the multi-award deserving maverick.

"Fresh, accessible and hilarious" The Guardian

“Gag after consistent gag… the quality doesn’t dip once… as smooth and consistent as a fine silky brie” The List

BEC HILL (it's her birthday too!)
Bec has been performing comedy since the age of 19, when she reached the televised National Final of the Raw Comedy Competition in Australia.

Her acclaimed solo shows and hugely popular YouTube videos which have garnered over 200,000 views globally have gained her a cult status in both Australia and the UK, where she is now based. She also has a prolific Twitter presence, which led to her being named one of TimeOut’s Top 5 Funniest Comedians on Twitter next to the likes of Milton Jones and Steve Martin.

She has a talent for incorporating arts and crafts into her stand-up routines, creating a unique and unforgettable comedy style that she calls “paper-puppetry comedy”.

Bec performs all over the UK, and is a sought-after MC and Headliner. She is often found at London’s top alternative comedy clubs, such as Josie Long’s Lost Treasures of the Black Heart, The Alternative Comedy Memorial Society and An Event of Some Kind. She is also the founder and MC of London’s regularly sold-out pun-based comedy night, Pun Run. She has recently appeared on the CBBC panel show “The Dog Ate My Homework”, “Console Yourself” on GinxTVand London Live's “CTRL Freaks”. She has also written for Bluestone 42 (BBC) and The Now Show (BBC Radio 4).

“Russian Roulette”, a short film starring Bec in her film debut, won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2014 Sundance UK Festival.

“...a powerfully positive attitude that will cheer even the most jaded.” Chortle

“...highly creative, delightfully funny… Bec Hill’s an innovative talent to keep an eye on" Time Out ANT DEWSON
Ant Dewson passed his Grade 6 piano exam when he was 14 – and he really hasn’t got much better since then!
Classical music’s loss was comedy’s gain however, and Ant now puts his (limited) skills to good use performing silly songs at comedy clubs up and down the country.

“Ant offers a musical comedy feast. He is witty, eloquent and a rhyming riot.” The Skinny

New act: HASAN
Hasan is a comedian from Birmingham of Iraqi origin from the Imperial College London Comedy Society. He's so good he once performed for the President of the University. She liked him very much until he mentioned the Gulf War and declared Bush had the blood of a million Iraqis on his hands. The President was from Texas. Hasan is enjoying his new degree at Durham Uni.

SEAN BRIGHTMAN (MC)

A stand up comic for over 5 years, Sean has performed in London, Edinburgh, Sweden, Sydney and lot’s of small towns all over the place. He is also the curator and promoter of ‘We Love Comedy’ and an integral part of turning it into a regular ‘Time Out Recommended’ comedy initiative. Most recently he helped bring the Freestival up to the Edinburgh Fringe (alongside taking up his first solo show), helping curate and promote over 130 comedy shows.
