Build a movement for Media Democracy

This is the first in a new monthly Media Democracy Meetup being organised by the Media Reform Coalition in the run up to our big Media Democracy Festival at Goldsmiths University on October 17th 2015.

We want all the various threads/ groups working on some part of Media Democracy to talk to each other more and hopefully become a rich tapestry and the beginnings of a power movement for Media Democracy in the UK
i.e. people who want to reform media and stop Murdoch etc owning so much, people who want to protect and democratise the BBC, people who'd like to see media co-ops in every community, independent journalists, community wifi networks builders etc etc

Come along to meet more Media Activists, help organise the Festival and feed into our forthcoming Media Activism Toolkit.
