Update:

Confirmed first talk: What makes virtual reality real? by Sebastien 'Cb' Kuntz

We are over the moon that Sebastien 'Cb' Kuntz will be jetting in to the Inition studios to share his wealth of knowledge about VR.

Sebastien talks all over the world about what makes simulated reality believable.  He will show us what needs to be thought about when creating the ultimate immersive experience as well as providing demos of MiddleVR for Unity3D, which enables your applications to run in virtually any VR system.

Check out his blog here.

We are very excited to announce that the InfinitEye team will be presenting their HMD prototype at our next VR Meetup on December 12th

You will be the very first in the UK to see the current prototype which uses two displays and Fresnal lenses to achieve its immersive 210 degree field view.

During the Meetup you will be able to try it for yourself and speak to the team who are kindly flying in from France.

The extended Inition Meetup will be very special indeed.  We will soon have a few more exciting announcements for you but believe me - you will not want to miss this!

There will also be fantastic speakers and plenty of festive nibbles!

If you would like to present a virtual reality experience yourself please do get in touch.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Jonathan

Hi everyone. It was a real please seeing you all last week and making our last meetup of 2013 a fun one! I would like to ask a big favour. I would appreciate any comments (please be 100% honest!) about your initial impressions of the Atomic A2 motion platform and the InfinitEye system. It would be really useful for those guys to get some feedback for their development. Many thanks!

    • Jonathan T.

Sure colin. It's near Liverpool street station. I'm afraid no parking. Looking forward to seeing you!

Hi folks - for those of you that can make the second day, would you mind cancelling your RSVP for this one and RSVPing for the second one? It would be really appreciated as we can then balance the numbers. Both evenings will be exactly the same. Many thanks!
