Take action to end poverty!

RESULTS is a network of people who care about ending world poverty.

Global poverty is such a massive challenge that many of us feel powerless to do anything about it. But as part of a RESULTS group, you will not only become more knowledgeable about development issues, you will also learn how you can influence political processes in order to bring about positive changes.

We have groups across the UK who are supported by a small office of staff. The London group meets at least once a month, including the 1st Tuesday of each month, where we participate in a national conference call featuring guest experts and learn about a topical issue. Recent issues have included microfinance, education, sanitation and health (including HIV, TB and child health). We then support each other to take an action, such as meeting with our MP, writing to decision-makers or getting letters published in newspapers.

We have a small number of members and are keen to find more like-minded people to join our group.
