Fishermans Museum

The Hastings Fishermen's Museum is one of the town's most popular tourist attractions.

The Shipwreck Museum tells fascinating stories of the shipwrecks which have been discovered around this area. We have many artefacts recovered from these ships on display. The Museum also explores the remarkable geological and environmental circumstances that have helped to preserve these shipwrecks.

Visit to The Old Town

No visit to Hastings is complete without a visit to the lovely and quaint Old Town filled with independent fashion boutiques that jostle for your attention with fine art galleries, antique dealers and bookshops many offering unique products you simply won't find anywhere else! The place exudes a heady bohemian atmosphere and it is hard not to fall in love with the place.

A fabulous day to explore, share and grow whilst having the opportunity to bond with like-minded new spiritual friends. It will be a day to remember for sure.

What not to expect

Please note we are not Tour Guides, we are Spiritual folk who enjoy spending time amongst like-minded friends although we will be visiting a museum on this occasion so there will be an opportunity to learn a little more about the area which has a very rich history.

A little more about Hastings

In historical terms, Hastings can claim fame through its connection with the Norman conquest of England (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_conquest_of_England); and also because it became one of the medieval Cinque Ports (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinque_Ports). Hastings was, for centuries, an important fishing port; although nowadays less important, it still has the largest beach-based fishing fleet in England. The town became a watering place in the 1760s, and then, with the coming of the railway, a seaside resort.
