London Tarot Study Group meets every two weeks* to discuss topics in and about the Tarot, to practice readings, explore new ideas and techniques, and to share with like-minded people something we're all passionate about.

We are open-minded and welcome all levels of experience - from curious watchers to professional readers, of all sorts of backgrounds and interests. Whether you come along to gain new Tarot knowledge, further your skills, or just to make new friends we will do our best to facilitate your needs.

At Meetups we offer:

  • One hour discussion of a topic of particular Tarot interest that members have suggested and/or voted for (handouts are provided at Meetups and online);
  • Time following the meetup to practice your reading skills and explore new ideas with others in a safe and friendly group atmosphere;
  • From January 2012 we will start to offer a Beginners' Tarot Course based on the Biddy Tarot Ultimate Guide to Tarot (20% off for LTSG members, see Perks). This will last for 2 hours before meetups and will cost £10 per class in advance; 
  • An environment where sharing, discussion and mutual respect are the focus, our members make the mood (there are never more than 30 people at any Meetup so that no one is left out). 

We meet at a central London pub on Sunday afternoons near to Covent Garden. Please bring your own deck(s) and any resources you'd like to share with the group. £3 is suggested as a voluntary donation to cover running costs. 

 

* We aim to meet on a regular fortnightly basis, with the meetups from 4:15-5:15, but this is dependent on topic and our venue's other commitments. Please check specific timings.
