The Talks:
Building a UI style guide with Vue.js components
How to build UI elements from forms and buttons to drag and drop image preview and sort order; without using any jQuery. The talk will also go over best practices for structuring components and a few front-end tips and tricks when using Vue.js.
- By Jack Barham @jackbarham (https://twitter.com/JackBarham). Product designer and developer.
Vue.js, Vuex and Redux-like State Management
The React community is currently moving towards using a library called Redux to manage state in medium to large scale applications. Since React is a “view only” library just like Vue.js, we can also use Redux in our Vue.js applications. The talk will cover some of the concepts and why this may or may not be a good idea and give a short introduction to Vuex, which is a Vue-specific state management library inspired by Redux.
