RUM First (September Meetup)

Details
*** Note that this is a TUESDAY not our normal Wednesday... ***
Join us for a talk with Cliff Crocker (@cliffcrocker (http://twitter.com/cliffcrocker)) from SOASTA (http://www.soasta.com/) for a talk about real world challenges of Real User Measurement!
Real user measurement is widely accepted by thought leaders and industry experts as the best way to gain insight into the 'true' performance of the end user. However, the adoption of RUM in the real world has been slower than one would expect. The focus of this talk will be to discuss common challenges and objections to a 'RUM First' performance management strategy and propose best practices and methodology for success within organizations.
Highlights of this talk:
· A survey of the RUM landscape
· Common challenges with RUM
· RUM vs. Synthetic Monitoring
· A recipe for success – engaging your business
· Open source and free alternatives to get you started
