London Escapes - walking and hiking with some arty bits

10% arty walking group - the best 'no pressure' way to meet new people, keep fit and explore countryside plus culture.

We like to seek out something beautiful, exciting or fascinating on every trip, so you may be in for a surprise or two!

This group is a mixture of people who are new to London and Londoners who would like to make new friends and connections. It's more than just a series of events - it's a club with loyal members who care about the group, and you can become one of them!

Walks are are 8 - 14 miles (you'd be amazed how easy it is) and we often venture out on a Saturday, Sunday or for weekend trips.

London Escapes do all the organisation and sorting stuff out, while you just bring yourself. In the spirit of meetup, members are welcoming and friendly to others, give positive constructive feedback, and share a little with each other (photos are great!).

Break out of routine, watch the landscape change from urban grey to leafy green… before you know it the growl of traffic is a distant hum and tweeting is real birdsong!

We limit numbers to around 20 - 25 max which makes the logistics nice and friendly.
