A bit of snow got in the way of Februray meetup but the attendance still was excellent, thank you everyone for making the effort. A number of new faces were present and contributed positively to the discussion, very encouraging to see that we are generating interest in the members. The selected book for March is:

Edward Wadie Saïd was a Palestinian-American literary theorist and advocate for Palestinian rights. He was University Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University and a founding figure in postcolonialism.Robert Fisk described him as the Palestinians' "most powerful political voice."
