Located on Broadway in Long Beach, CA and blocks from the Pacific Ocean, The Long Beach Museum of Art, and The Museum of Latin American Art, Studio 1021 is dedicated to cultivating creativity, artistic growth and increased artistic expression within our community.
One of our primary focuses is life drawing workshops. We offer a friendly atmosphere for artists of any level who want to draw/paint the human figure. We welcome a variety of media, and you are encouraged to use the time to further your own artistic expression and skills. The pose lengths vary during each 3-hour session, but we will generally start with short poses and proceed to longer poses.
Additionally, we also feature gallery space for local artists, and we have art openings quarterly. Our goal is to facilitate creative expression within our community and give local artists opportunities to showcase their talent.
Join our group if you are interested in life drawing workshops, other art classes, and/or gallery shows while meeting other like-minded people in our community. Please visit www.studio1021.com for more information, and we hope to see you soon!!
