Smart Small Business Owners (SBOs) are always looking for ways to improve their profitability and lower their costs (without sacrificing results). While many SBOs are great at their specialty, in many cases, that specialty is not marketing.
Join our group of Smart SBOs and enjoy learning about the fundamental marketing techniques that grow business without wasting advertising dollars.
We focus on all aspects of marketing that work for Small Businesses in retail, resale, direct sales people, online sales companies, MLM sales people, etc. This is an open forum meeting, meaning various training topics will be presented and all participants will have the opportunity to get marketing suggestions from experts, as well as advice from peers.
This group is meant to be HIGHLY interactive (you will be asked to give your 2 cents and maybe more). Meet Ups are limited to 15 people and will occur in different venues throughout the Long Beach area.
There will be a charge between $29 and $59 depending on speaker and venue and food offered.
Please note: I was asked why the seminars cost money. Seminars will have varying rates to cover food, speakers and materials. As a Marketing Consultant (please see www.businesssuccessexperts.com), I usually charge an average rate of $150/hr. Many people have asked for marketing assistance, but are financially challenged in these economic times. I decided to host inexpensive events where we pick topics that are critical to marketing success in order to help them and others like them. Guest speakers and I will provide the educational aspect, at times include interactive exercises, and ask everyone (that wants to) to share their challenges in the topic area. I will address the challenges as a business coach and invite participants to make suggestions (which leads to a networking/lead referral environment among the participants). Some speakers and refreshments will cost more and some less, therefore, costs will change with each seminar.
Support a Meetup group while getting exposure to active, local members.
