LIMac, Long Island's oldest & largest Macintosh user group is a not-for-profit, volunteer member supported organization whose purpose is to share information about Macintosh computers & other Apple products, such as the iPhone & iPod, & what one can accomplish with the help of digital technology. LIMac helps members with technical questions, gives honest advice on software & hardware selection & provides a friendly environment where people can learn more about their beloved Macs. Membership includes novices, power users, family users, business users & educators; individuals, hobbyists, professional & corporate users.
Our monthly meetings start with a Q&A session, hosted by our multi-talented technical advisor, followed by the main presentation which features guest speakers prominent in the Macintosh community. Then comes our monthly raffle (chock-full of wonderful prizes) & afterwards join in on one of our popular SIG sessions.
LIMac holds its general meeting every second Friday of the month in room 308-310 of the Anna Rubin Hall or "300" building at the Old Westbury campus of the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) on Northern Boulevard. Please visit LIMac's website, www.LIMac.org, for directions & details.
