I think that most people will be more likely to refer you to youtube to learn techniques. We're mostly available for each other for small pointers and the "am I doing this right?" kinds of questions. Otherwise we just sit around and have tasty beverages and knit or crochet.

The tasty beverages are most important. Speaking of which: Amanda, there's a new Stonecreek Coffee on Pittsburgh, next to Collectivo Coffee. They have a large table in one section that would be perfect for a meetup. They also have smaller tables in a large area with lots of open space. And if it is warm enough, there's a fire pit outside to sit around.
