Welcome racers!

I love speed, as I'm sure many others do. I used to autocross and attend track events several years ago back in the SF Bay Area, but then I got busy, and took a break from one of my life long passions.

Now it's time to get back into the swing of things. I'm starting this group because I just moved down here, I don't have as many contacts as I'd like, especially in the amateur racing world. I also know that for new-comers, it's a bit intimidating to get into formal racing organizations, what with their rules and what not. I'd like to help introduce wannabe racers into formal Motorsport racing, and hopefully we'll have a hell of a time as well.

In short, my goals are:
- Meet like-minded go-fast addicts.
- Help introduce and expand the popularity of formalized Motorsport racing.
- Just have a good time enjoying all things relating going fast.

We'll likely start off with some autocross events, because they are the cheapest and easiest to approach, but as we get more members with differing interests (such as drift, drag, or even bikes), we'll expand into other venues. =)
