Eagle Rockdale Community Oven Firing

Join us on January 8th for the first official firing of our Eagle Rockdale community oven. We'll start the fire around 11 AM. Kristin Ferguson will do a pizza dough demo and bake around 12:30 to 1 PM. After lunch, Mark Stambler will bake loaves prepared at the workshop on the 7th and talk about his bread making process. Please bring warm clothes, a hat, and some food or a beverage to share. Rain cancels, so please RSVP and watch for last minute details. The $5 registration fee covers materials costs. If you'd like to bring something to bake please say so when when you RSVP. As we don't know how long the oven holds its heat yet, we'll limit the number of extra loaves to the first 8 folks who say they'd like to bake something. Looking forward to seeing all of you again.
