Introducing Non-Stop HBase by WANdisco. In this talk Ryan will describe how taking an excellent open source database, and combining it with paxos technology takes it to the next stage of reliability. Covering diverse use cases such as real time web, multi-datacenter business continuity, Non-Stop HBase is essential for those serious about HBase.

Ryan Rawson is a committer to the HBase open source project and a member of the HBase Project Management Committee. Before joining WANdisco, Ryan co-founded OhmData, worked at places such as Stumbleupon, Google and Amazon. He specializes in large systems (hundreds of nodes or servers), extensive code bases, and multiple language environments.
