We are very excited to announce our next meetup and we think you will be excited to hear too. Before we go any further we'd like to give a huge thank you to GitHub. The generosity GitHub has shown to our meetup has been nothing short of amazing. It's a true testament to GitHub's commitment to not only Open Source software but also the communities. Thank you GitHub!

We are proud to announce that our next meetup will be hosted at CodeConf LA and that you have a sponsored ticket to the entire 3 day event which includes workshops, the conference presentations and an after party at Hyde Sunset Kitchen.

Our next big thank you goes out to your next Los Angeles Jenkins Area Meetup presenter. He volunteered early on to present and has been very flexible while we worked out the details of our meetup:

Paul Schipitsch (https://www.linkedin.com/in/paul-schipitsch-82770a3a) - Software Engineer

Paul will demonstrate how TRUECar uses the s3 and ec2 plugins to run Jenkins in AWS. He will also demonstrate how TRUECar automates documentation for one of their github organizations.

Paul's talk will take place from 3:40-4:20PM in the Bardot Lounge upstairs at the conference venue. Many famous folks have graced this venue so it should be interesting! (Madonna, Rolling Stones, Groucho Marx, Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra)

CodeConf will announce and encourage conference members to attend our Meetup. Make sure you get to the lounge and secure your spot. We're really looking forward to Paul's presentation. Thank you again Paul!

P.S. Be like Paul and volunteer to present for our next meetup! You might end up at a conference!

To register for the conference visit http://codeconf.com and click the "GET TICKETS" link in the header. The conference is 100% free of charge to our members when they use the coupon code JENKINS (case sensitive). All we ask is that you also RSVP to our event too. If you'd like to share we ask that you use code OPENLA which provides a discount for people outside of the Jenkins community.

NOTE: If you're already registered you will not be able to use our code for a retroactive refund.

We look forward to your participation in the conference and the meetup. Please review the code of conduct and have a great time!

We recommend utilizing the Metro Redline. The Hollywood/Vine stations lets off across the street from the conference venue (The Avalon). If you're driving there will be several close by parking lots. Most of the parking lots have signs and attendants present.

If you're drinking at the after party and we hope you are, please do so responsibly. There is never a good enough reason to drink and drive.

Last but not least we wanted to give a special thank you to Alaine Newland @ GitHub for working with us and making this all happen. Thanks Alaine!!!!!
