AMA Los Angeles Presents:
An evening of networking and educational topic discussion with Greg Durkin, VP Research at Warner Bros. Pictures and Duane Bedard of eSage Group.

Greg and Duane will have a casual conversation discussing the marketing analytics ecosystem and the perils and promise around big and small data. Greg, with his background in box office (which is essentially a new product launch for every new movie) will draw parallels to other product cycles and reveal important tenets to follow when considering marketplace analytics to understand customer behavior. Duane and Greg will discuss the benefits and drawbacks of Traditional Market Research, harnessing the “Social Media Fire-hose of Data”, and the potential perils of “Snakeoil Products” promising the panacea of marketplace predictability. Are they real, or are they traps? Join us next Tuesday evening for what will likely be a very interesting and educational conversation.

Duane Bedard is President of eSage Group, a data integration consultancy specializing in helping clients manage data and prepare it for a multitude of analytics practices. Duane has extensive background in using various data sets, from small to large, to gain customer insights.
