I'm trying to schedule the first meetup Wednesday July 29, 2009. We have the place, the topic will be Oracle Streams Replication and I'll be giving this talk unless I get someone else with a more interesting topic lined up

I tentatively have a location in West Hollywood (90069) but could be anywhere around West LA, Santa Monica, El Segundo, etc...

The focus of this Oracle Group is:

1. Learn as much as possible about Oracle from experts in the field. From High Availability, Clustering and Replication to SQL tricks and related technology.
2. Network with others interested in Oracle.
3. Have some good conversation about the world's most powerful enterprise database.

All levels of experience welcome!
