We are set to go for the second installment of the L.A. Riak Meetup. The team at OpenX will be presenting on their Riak usage. They will also be hosting us at their Pasadena offices. Here are the talk details:

From Cassandra to Riak at OpenX
OpenX Engineering Team
OpenX (http://openx.com/), one of the world's leading providers of digital advertising technology, has been using NoSQL storage systems since mid-2009, when they first worked Cassandra into their stack. Since then they've used CouchDB, built a custom frequency store using riak_core (http://basho.com/blog/technical/2011/04/12/Where-To-Start-With-Riak-Core/), and then pushed some time series data into Riak.
In this talk, members of the OpenX engineering team will explain their experience, working with several versions of Riak, implementing new NoSQL systems using riak_core, and why they ultimately chose Riak over Cassandra.
