This group is intended to create a community for people who either have chickens or are thinking seriously about getting chickens. You should join if you like the idea of fresh eggs, local, ethical food and enjoy sharing your life with the amazing creatures that hens and roosters are. We also have the most awesome message board under the discussion tab, by joining you get to share your experiences and  and ask and hear from others.

We are a very diverse family of chicken lovers and welcome you with open arms!

ps, we offer great events most of them completely free. However, donations to run this community are greatly appreciated. You can click on the "chip in" button right below this area, OR pay thru paypal thru this link,

"Hello all, I have a 6' x 6' coop I'm looking to get rid of. It was hand-built and is very sturdy. With the door closed, nothing can get in. I've linked an album of pictures. Feel free to message me for more details or to come pick it up! Ryan"

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
