Meera Jain (BS, DPS) is the creator of The Reiki Matrix™ and also the founder and director of the Institute of Conscious Living. Meera’s background in Psychology has led her to become a pioneer in the emerging field of Energy Psychology and she has presented seminars and taught classes at many different venues, including universities and healing centers for over 15 years. After finishing her postgraduate studies in Oxford (UK), she worked as an Assistant Clinical Psychologist in the areas of Mental Health and Learning Disabilities, but felt very discontent with the nature of conventional medicine. Her own spiritual upbringing prompted her for many years to search tools that go beyond conventional therapy and can treat the whole person (mind, body and spirit). Some of her areas of expertise include Meditation, Reiki, Archetypal Psychology, Inner Child Work and more. Her intuitive ability to zone in on ‘the problem’ and guide her clients through a recovery process in just a few sessions amazes those who experience it. In 2001, she co-authored an NIH grant to study the efficacy of Reiki. In 2009, Meera founded the Institute of Conscious Living, an organization dedicated to heal, transform and empower individuals and organizations through educational programs, workshops, seminars and personal therapy. Meera is passionate about her work and takes great care to promote the highest ethical principles, whilst also attempting to bridge the gap between science and spirituality.
