This meetup is all about facilitating singles meeting other singles. Whether that be for friendships, dating buddies or life partners.

Type of activities will be: Meet 'n Greets based on specifically-targeted age groups and will include interactive activities to facilitate getting to know members of the opposite sex without the pressure of rejection. Female-only discussion groups so you can meet other female members of the group to form event partnerships so you don't have to attend mixed-gender events with total strangers. Singles seminars which will include image consultants, relationship and/or dating coaches, self-help book reviews, and dating advice. Group tours to local events will be offered when available.

While LAS membership remains free at this time, certain events will have associated fees to cover costs of speakers, professionals and facilities.

NEW MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS: You must be a <b><i>social</b></i> person to be a LAS member. If you have personal issues which prohibit you from interacting with other members appropriately, please do not join this group. If you are currently a member with social interaction issues, we ask that you remove yourself from the group until these issues are resolved. If you do not meet the social interaction requirements, you will be asked to leave the group or you will be removed.

LAS members must be unmarried*, heterosexual and between the ages of 21 and 55 years of age.

*Seperated individuals may join as long as they are up-front and honest with their marital status.
