Monthly Meetup: ASP.NET MVC Scaffolding - Building Web Apps the Easy Way

Details
We will meet on Thursday, January 19at Adecco's offices at 101 Bullitt Lane. Doors will open at 6:30pm and the presentations will begin sharply at 7:00 pm. Along with a great presentation, we'll have food and raffle prizes. Be sure to RSVP so we know how much food is needed.
For January we have Joe Conrey to talk about ASP.NET MVC Scaffolding - Building Web Apps the Easy Way:
Hey, code-meister, you're working too hard. Let Visual Studio deal with the CRUD, so you can focus on the details of what makes you're app unique. We'll take a brief review of ASP.net MVC before exploring the productive power of MVC Scaffolding.
Joe is a Senior .Net Developer in the Louisville, KY area, and I have presented a couple of times for one of the local .Net User Groups, covering topics related to Silverlight, MVVM, Entity Framework, MVC, and MVC Scaffolding. He is passionate about programming with .Net, and he loves expanding my horizons with new technology, but more importantly, the horizons of other developers through exposure to the tremendous tool set Microsoft has provided.
Immediately following Joe Conrey will be Ed Charbeneau with a talk about Responsive Design in ASP.NET MVC - A Crash Course in Responsive Design:
With the increasing variety of web enabled devices entering the market, the next generation of the web will need to be more flexible than ever before. In this session we will explore how Responsive Design can help build "A Foundation for the Web" and ensure maximum compatibly on any device now or in the future. We'll also take a glimpse at how using solutions like Zurb's Foundation and ASP.Net MVC (http://nuget.org/packages/Zurb_Foundation_MVC3) can jump start development, and produce effective results fast.
Ed Charbeneau (http://about.me/EdCharbeneau) is a Corporate Web Developer for Sypris Solutions (http://sypris.com/) and Code PaLOUsa (http://www.codepalousa.com/) executive committee / web master.
