Inaugural Louisville Quantified Self Meet-Up

Quantified Self has come to Louisville!

Help us spread the word and get folks from Louisville who are doing any kind of self-tracking projects. Talk to artists, hackers, engineers, scientists, students and tell them to come share with the Louisville Quantified Self Group.

Please come and join us on Wednesday, August 17th for our first Show & Tell. We will gather on Shelbyville Road at the Flashcube Building for an evening of sharing our projects, demonstrations, tools and ideas. If you are self-tracking or experimenting in any way -- habits, health, mood, physical activity, thoughts, location, spending, relationships, etc. -- come and share your methods, results and insights with us.

5:30pm -6:00 pm HALF HOUR SOCIAL HOUR AND NETWORKING
Come early and connect with others who share your interest in data. We'll have refreshments on hand to get us started.

6:00 - 7:00 pm QS SHOW & TELL TALKS
Presentations will start at 6pm. We save our talks for personal accounts of self-tracking and self-experimentation, rather than sales pitches. If you have testimonials/stories from users of your device or application, we welcome those. We're also interested in data visualizations, gadgets and tools that you've created to track and make meaning of something about yourself.

If you'd like to give a talk, please let us know in advance so we can discuss your topic and how much time you'll need. We keep the length of presentations to 5 minutes + 5 minutes for Q&A. If you have slides to show, feel free but it's not required.
