This is a group for those interested in supporting world peace by taking part in monthly activities at various national monuments and or other prominent venues in the metro DC area. We are committed to send to the universe, love, joy and peace via meditation and or prayerful silence for 30mins as a group each month on the fourth (4th) weekend of each month. This month's meeting is on Sunday October 25th.
Many of you joined us on the International Day of Peace, September 21, at the Jefferson Memorial. We are planning various activities each month such as, meditations at various public venues, open forums, focused meditations and including some fun activities. Peace needs to be with a joyful face, so fun activities will be a part of our ongoing events. Remember peace must begin from within; then it can flow outwards to our world.
