The Low Country Smocking Guild is the local chapter of the Smocking Association of America (SAGA). http://www.smocking.org/ Our purpose is to preserve and foster the art of smocking and related needlework for future generations, through education, communication, and quality workmanship.

We welcome anyone to join our group. Our members are interested in all types of sewing arts including heirloom sewing, children's clothing, smocking, making handbags, embroidery, hand sewing, machine sewing, etc.

We meet the second Monday of each month at The Church of the Holy Cross (Daniel Island) at 7pm. You are welcome to come visit our group!
