An Intro to ImpactJS with special guest Jared Barboza

Happy New Year! Our next meeting will feature our first talk, an Intro to ImpactJS by Jared Barboza.

Making games in javascript just got a lot easier and a whole lot more fun. This talk will outline the impactJS game engine and how you can leverage it to deliver rich and exciting javascript games to the web, mobile devices and the desktop.

Jared is a software developer at Hudl (http://hudl.com (http://hudl.com/)) by day but at night he dons his over-sized sweatshirt and becomes 1/2 of the dynamic duo at Frag Castle Games (http://fragcastle.com (http://fragcastle.com/)).

The first hour will be networking and checking out each others work in progress, bring your laptop or device to show people what you are up to. The talk will begin around 7:30.
