We're a small group of volunteers who love Doxies! There was something missing in Oklahoma City - a Dachshund rescue. So in October 2008 we took in our first homeless dog, and now we continue to take dogs from kill shelters, make sure they are healthy, vaccinated, and spayed/neutered, and find them forever homes! Meet fellow Dachshunds and Dachshund Owners near you! Come to a local Dachshund Meetup to talk about training issues, health and nutrition, and the general well-being of our popular breed, as well as let the dogs romp and play and make new friends. Longhaired, Smooth or Wirehaired; miniature or full-sized, all breeds of Dachshunds and people are welcome!
