Luton Black Men Community Group screening of the 'Hidden Colors 2: The Triumph Of Melanin' documentary on Sunday 16th December 3pm at the UK Centre for Carnival Arts, 3 St Mary's Road, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU1 3JA
Members of other Black community organisations will be giving a 2 minute talk about their events and activities.
This is the follow up to the critically acclaimed 2011 documentary about the untold history of people of African and aboriginal descent.
This installment of Hidden Colors goes into topics such as:
The Global African presence
The Science of Melanin
The truth about the Prison Industrial Complex
How thriving Black economic communities were undermined in America
The hidden truth about Native Americans
And much more
Featuring Booker T. Coleman, James Small, KRS-One, Michelle Alexander, Phil Valentine, Runoko Rashidi, Tariq Nasheed, Tony Browder, Umar Johnson
Hidden Colors 2 is directed by New York Times best selling author and film producer Tariq Nasheed (Hidden Colors, The Eugenist)
Copies of the Hidden Colors 2 DVD will be on sale at the screenings.
Advanced Tickets for the Luton screening are Adults (19 years and Older) are £7 plus booking fee of 45p and Youth (12-18 years) are £5 plus booking fee of 38p.
