What we’re about
Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association (MAMAs Austin) is a unique networking and support organization. MAMAs is unlike any other attorney organization in Austin in that our events include both mother attorneys and their children and are held at safe, kid-friendly venues throughout Travis County. Mother attorneys face difficult challenges that are somewhat unique from other professions -- generally longer work hours, pressure to generate business and network, and sometimes heavy travel schedules. Mother attorneys must also sometimes downplay our roles as mothers with colleagues and clients. MAMAs Austin addresses these challenges by celebrating our roles as mothers and attorneys and providing networking events where our children are invited and welcome.
