What we’re about
Alaska H Friends was founded in January of 2010. When we started out, we were just a handful of people who wanted to make a difference in the lives of others who live with Genital Herpes (HSV-1 or HSV-2) and/or HPV. We have seen steady growth and with that growth we have seen greater levels in support, for the site and community. (Please keep in mind that no one on this site has any official medical or psychological training, we are just caring members of this group who share a common bond! We are here to listen and share experiences). Sometimes all you need is a friend to listen and we can provide that here at Alaska H Friends!
This group can offer support, activities, friendship and much more to all members.
Our members range from the newly diagnosed to members who have been living with HSV and/or HPV for many decades. A wealth of support and general information is available!
PLEASE VOLUNTEER TO HOST!! If you have an idea for a gathering, please send a message to Gretchen in order to get a membership upgrade to Event Organizer.

And much more! No idea is turned away and members have the ability and are encouraged to plan and organize activities that they find of interest! The best to particicpate is by doing the things you enjoy and getting people to sign up!
