Killington Classic Vermont Weekend event

I just came back from spending a long weekend up in Vermont and most roads and bridges are repaired or being repaired. I was very impressed with the roads , the motorcycle friendliness of them and the people of Vermont.

The event is full of guided rides, poker runs, scavenger hunts through quaint towns , a parade of bikes down to Rutland for a block party and a lot more cool stuff. There should be vendors and demos too. http://www.killingtonclassic.com/events-rides check out the web site for more info.

The ride up is a bit long so we will stop for bathroom breaks and food. It is approx 5-6 hour ride not much different than Americade in Lake George for those who have done that ride.

If anyone has been before and has anything to add so we can plan a great weekend please let me know. There seems to be plenty of options for lodging and eating. I'm really looking forward to hitting some of the spectacular roads and scenic overlooks.
