We are a local, peer-led, "social support" group for adult women who have endured the loss of their female parents. 

We are accepting members who are looking to be active participants in building a sisterhood relationship with other woman who share this experience and understand what it means to live without their mothers.

We have monthly support gatherings and we have four annual social events.

Support Meetings are for all MDGP members:

Currently we have a monthly support meeting in the East Valley on the 2nd Tuesday of every month (at 7 pm at Inside the Bungalow Cafe in downtown Mesa).

We also meet the last Monday of every month at Hob Nobs Coffee at 6:30 PM in Phoenix. The address is 149 W McDowell Rd (S.E. Corner of 3rd Avenue).

 

Social Event Meetups are for all MDGP members to come together and just relax together.  Annual and other social events give everyone in the MDGP a chance to hang out, make friends, and have fun with other motherless daughters.  

  • annual January kickoff Party in Central Phoenix (usually the Saturday after the new year's closest weekend or no later than the second Saturday in January)
  • annual Pre-Mother's Day Sunday Potluck (usually two Sundays before Mother's Day Sunday)
  • annual Summer Saturday Escape The Heat Party (usually the second Saturday in August)
  • annual Day of the Dead/Dia de Los Muertos Saturday potluck (the closest Saturday to Dia de Los Muertos OR the Saturday right after Halloween's closest weekend because we don't compete with Halloween parties, haha)
