Adult Egg Hunt/Hike & Picnic in Brighton! Kids not required but welcome

Come Hunt for Eggs on our Hike! There will be hard-boiled/colored eggs (Deviled Egg fixin's provided at the end of hike for picnic Sandwiches), as well as plastic eggs filled with goodies! Adults and children are welcome to attend. Kids will hunt for eggs near the ground, Adults will hunt for eggs up high (trees, shrubs etc).

Hike Distance: 2 miles moderate terrain

Picnic n' Outdoor sports - After the hike in one of the Pavilions. Bring a picnic lunch and Deviled Egg fixin's will be provided if you want to turn your hard boiled easter eggs into sandwiches! Feel free to bring outdoor sporty things like frisbees etc..

BYO: Easter Basket or container for the egg hunt, picnic lunch, outdoor toys (some frisbees and hula hoops will be provided).

Details and Itinerary:

2:00 - 2:15: Meet n Greet at Trail head in parking lot.

2:15: Hike: Khachin Trail. Approximately 2 miles, moderate somewhat hilly terrain.

3:30ish - Picnic and Outdoor fun. Organizer will provide details at the hike.

Cost for Park Entry: Free if you have a State Park annual pass, $6 daily fee if you dont.

Cost for Hike: $5 - Includes Eggs (real and plastic), Goodies in Eggs, Deviled Egg fixins for picnic (Mustard, Mayo, Pickles, Bread, Spices etc), remainder goes to Meetup Costs.

Wear good hiking boots or tennis shoes with good traction. Dress warm just in case!
