All the Devils Are Here

We are going to look at some recent history, namely, the collapse of the economy in 2008 and its causes. There have been several very good books written on the topic, but one of the most recommended is All the Devils Are Here: The Hidden History of the Financial Crisis by Bethany McLean and Joe Nocera. The Huffington Post said it was the best business book of 2010. This book has some other things going for it. It assumes you are not economically sophisticated, but it doesn't dumb down for its readers. And it's available in paperback. It can be found for less than $12 in paperback and for about $10 in ebook format. You can even get an audiobook edition for $24. We will cover the first half of the book, through chapter 12. Then we want all the devils and all the saints (if there are any) in the History Study Group to get together to discuss the book.
