Get in the Game!
Details
Did you know that Michigan State University has one of the top ranked Game Design Programs in the country? Join us at MSU to find out why. Learn about the cool game projects students and researchers have been working on.
The Games for Entertainment and Learning (GEL) Lab is a research and development lab that has partnered with a number of organizations to create games, including Ford Motor Company, Michigan State Federal Credit Union, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and Adventure Club Games. Student class projects include collaboration and mentorship with Michigan-based game companies, such as Pixo Entertainment, Scientifically Proven Entertainment, and Motown Gamers. This event will include several short game demos followed by a tour of the facilities.
MITN will also be recognizing and awarding four fellowship winners at this event. We'll be awarding over $2,000 to help the recipients grow technical skills through training and education.
