Details
BDPA hosts ‘Milwaukee Blacks In Technology’ to collaborate with the vibrant community of like-minded technology professionals of color in our city. The doors are wide open for those folks who are passionate about all things technical. Our meetups encourage fun, socializing and high level talks on a variety of technology topics. IT recruiters and IT job seekers are both welcome!
You are invited to attend an informative communication and leadership skills workshop to learn how to:
-
Overcome nervousness when speaking before an audience
-
Organize and present ideas logically and convincingly when participating in group discussions
-
Listen carefully to others' ideas
-
Provide constructive feedback
These are some of the issues that will be addressed by our guest speaker, Denise Thomas. Denise is a senior IT project leader for MillerCoors.
