Many thanks for your notifications of events. You must work very hard at it.
I am returning to UK on 4th October and look forward to attending a few events especially those not requiring a lot of leg work. Out here when on voyages we use canoes and its all down to balance and keeping the motors running.
Just for your private information, I lived in MK for 40 years and watched the city grow. I was widowed about 35 years ago
with two pre-teenage boys. I re-married and had a daughter (now 24) who lives in Stony Stratford. Although previously a European Chartered Engineer I own the Aquarium and Watergarden Centre on the A5 (run by my sons). I "retired" to Manaus, Amazonas, and rebuilt a wooden tourist boat. Amongst friends who joined me on trips we now have 3 marriages to local girls and two beautiful young children. (going to a birthday party today). I am still married although seperated over 10 years. We still talk regularly (Thank heavens for Skype) but neither of us have any intention of remarrying we just haven't got round to writing out the cheque to go with the divorce papers, although one never knows what surprises are ahead.
Look forward to talking to you more and relaxation with the group.
Regards John R. Chalmers
