What we’re about
The MOMS Club® is a nonprofit organization which supports at-home mothers and their children. The Club offers enriching activities for mothers and their children and opportunities for members to stay active within the community and to gather parenting information and ideas. Internationally, the MOMS Club® has over 2,000 chapters in seven countries and more than 100,000 members.
This local chapter serves families with permanent addresses in: Lewes, Georgetown, Milton, Rehoboth Beach, Millsboro, Dewey Beach and Harbeson. At-home mothers of any age children are welcome.
The Club meets each month to discuss activities, and plan trips and community activities. During the month, members meet at local parks, provide services to the local community, visit local attractions, and meet for playgroups. Each October the local MOMS Club® hosts a children's consignment sale, with a percentage of the profits donated to a local charity, and unsold items donated to a state-run charity. The Club is also involved in a a number of other community service projects including an annual school supply drive, a holiday "Adopt-A-Family" gift drive, a fundraiser to raise money for the labor and delivery unit at Beebe hospital, and more.
