Welcome to the meetup site for Divorce and Relationship Recovery (we call it "DR") at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church. We offer this free program as a service to our community. In operation for 25+ years, it has an outstanding reputation as one of the best divorce support resources in the Bay Area.

Divorce and Relationship Recovery is a safe place to heal your heart and to find support after experiencing a difficult divorce or the breakup of a significant relationship.

We understand how deeply people and their families are hurt by divorce and relationship breakups. Oftentimes, in addition to dealing with the loss of the relationship, individuals are also faced with changes in friendships, family relationships, and even everyday activities and financial responsibilities. Perhaps most significant is the impact on how we view ourselves, which may be that we've become unlovable, inadequate, failures as people.

We meet every Monday from 7pm to 9pm and feature an informational video or speaker presentation. Following the presentation, we meet in small support groups. Your small group is your "home base" of others who are going through the same challenges as you. We emphasize a safe, confidential, respectful setting.

Our video series each year during February and March is Henry Cloud presenting “Changes that Heal." Other Cloud and Townsend video presentations include “Boundaries” during June and July and “Safe People” during September and October. Between these video series, live speakers can include psychologists, therapists, and attorneys discussing ways to heal and begin putting your life together again.

There are no fees or registration or membership requirements.
