House Concert with Singer/Songwriter Leslie Rich from Belfast

Leslie will begin playing around 8:00 PM. Please also bring a favorite appetizer and beverage to share -- multicultural cuisine encouraged!

Chez Valerie (https://www.facebook.com/Chez.Valerie) is a private home which periodically hosts house concerts and various events. 100% of all proceeds are donated to the musicians. We have wood floors so please bring socks or slippers. Also be advised that cats live here too, so those with allergies have been notified and unfortunately I can't allow service animals to attend either.

Please accurately RSVP with +1 if you're bringing a guest. This is my home so we need to limit the number of guests. Others have been invited through Valerie and Leslie's connections. If the event looks full, be sure to join the waiting list as there are often many later RSVP changes.

Leslie is a singer/songwriter originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, where he released two albums on Immortal Recordings (Ire): Geeklove and The Written Lie.

In 2004 he became a permanent resident of Minneapolis, where he met Pete McCauley, Michelle MacGregor, and David Draeger and began a creative partnership with the Hounds of Finn (http://www.houndsoffinn.com). The primary songwriter for the Hounds, Leslie also composes material for side projects when he finds the time.

Leslie is also the store manager of the newly opened Groove City Guitars (http://groovecityguitars.com/) store in St. Paul.

Per Leslie, “The event is just about hearing Leslie Rich
originals old and new and my take on choice covers that range from modern rock, contemporary through traditional Celtic and blues.” Since this concert is on a weekend, the format will be pretty loose and we’ll let Leslie play all night if he wants to!
