Indeed, Ian. Keeping us in suspense for -- what, weeks? I guess we'll find out
Potluck is a yes for those who care to stick around:
2:30-4:30pm MST3K movie (Eegah or otherwise)
4:30-5:00pm Comedy tape/DVD/DVR of some kind
5:00pm-???? pot luck dinner
People can cut out early any time (or show up late).
I liked how the food assignments went last time, so we can stick with them,
unless you want to change it up. I think I'll get Imo's, but probably get a
Pizza Hut cheese pizza or two, in case the kids don't like Imo's. If you hate
Imo's, and would prefer Pizza Hut, let me know what toppings you like.
"Eegah" stars Richard Kiel (aka Jaws from the James Bond movies -- Moonraker and
the Spy Who Loved Me), and this is still my preference, but the folks on the
mst3k list have been talking about "The Magic Sword" this week, so I've had "Ode
to Estelle" in my head. (Sorry, I probably should have put "CAUTION: Song
Virus" in front of that sentence.) I have that one on VHS, so we can vote on
these two and any other nominations on Saturday.
Greg is going to bring some comedy options, too. I have a 15 minute clip tape
of Tommy Johnagin from Last Comic Standing I'd like to play.
In case anyone new needs directions:
Are you ready for some riffing?
