MongoDB User Group Meeting June 2013

Hi everybody,

a year ago we had our first usergroup meeting. It was scheduled directly after the BerlinBuzzwords. We want to repeat this and so we'd like to announce the next meeting. The BerlinBuzzwords will be held at KulturBrauerei (see venue-link (http://berlinbuzzwords.de/content/venue)) which is just a short walk away from our meeting location. So if you are interested in MongoDB and you visit the BerlinBuzzwords, just come by :)

So this meeting will be scheduled on 4.6. at Idealo. We have a very interesting talk from Kay Agahd about:

MongoDB - visualisation of slow operations

MongoDB allows to profile slow operations. However, it's difficult to get a quick overview of a sharded system or to have a historical view since MongoDB stores slow operations on every profiled node in a capped collection. This talk gives a deeper insight how idealo solved these shortcomings.
