July 27 Knit-Inn: Shawn Dolan Demonstration

Shawn Dolan, owner of Knit & Sew World in St. Peter, will demonstrate how to clean and rune up your knitting machine. Bring your own dirty machine (and who doesn't have at least 1 of those on hand?) Materials and guidance will be provided as you clean your own knitting machine. Expect the program to begin by approximately 9:30 and be finished by around 11:30. Shawn will likely remain available for most of the afternoon to answer your individual questions.

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the useful life of your machine. If you've ever had to replace a broken part, you know that an ounce of prevention is worth many pounds of cure!

There will also be plenty of time throughout the day to work on your own projects. The group generally has lunch together and shared snacks are available (if you bring them.)

If you haven't been to a knit-in, take this opportunity to join the group. Its a wonderful way to learn from each other! You'll get to see what others are making! Your questions can be answered quickly by the person sitting next to you! You'll find a abundance of good humor and joy as we all knit, knit, knit the day away.
