Madison Company of Gamers Message Board › Random Warcraft 3 games. Yes/no?
I just moved to Madison from Michigan. Previously, I was in a small town that had no real meetups to speak of.
But now I see that I have an opportunity to share a favorite past-time of mine: Playing on random Warcraft 3 custom maps. The idea is this: I find a few maps that look filled with shenanigans (and I imagine shenanigans are key to any successful meetup), and on the night of the meetup, I throw them on a flash drive and hand said flash drive around to whoever shows up. We then proceed to LAN it up and do whatever silly thing the maps require - Tower Defense, silly RPGs, whatever. Since WC3 isn't a demanding game, anyone with a decent laptop would be able to join in.
What say you? Is this a thing people would want to do? Is there a logistical issue I'm not thinking of? Do I sound like Crazy Dave here? Any suggestions would be grand.
