Playing volleyball since 2009. I enjoy both the fun and competition. Strengths: serving, blocking, kills. Weakness: passing. Always enjoy a game, so let me know if you need a sub. (Sorry, photo is an old one...I'll update soon...).
Thanks Chris, for saying it like it is. When a player comes to an intermediate group without intermediate skills, it ruins it for the whole group. When there is a "hole" on one side from a sub-par player, the "play" dies almost every time the ball goes to him/her. People get demoralized and start playing differently, serving easy or running around behind the person to make it work, or desperately try to get the ball that was mishandled by the sub-par player. Sometimes dangerous collisions occur because the person doesn't know where to go during a point. It drains the whole process. I hope everyone thinking of playing intermediate sees your post, and realizes even if they are a competitive soul, they should not show up for the intermediate volleyball unless they have intermediate skills. Let's be frank, there are plenty of other avenues for people to have fun and meet people. We want to play intermediate volleyball while we do it, and that is why it is called "Intermediate".
