Introduction To Xamarin

The inaugural meeting!

We'll have a chance to meet each other and then present an introduction to the Xamarin platform.

In the talk we'll cover what Xamarin is and how it enables .NET developers to write native apps for iOS, Android and Windows Phone using C# (and all the awesomeness of that language)! We'll also tackle initially setting up the development environment and walk through a sample application.

We'll also brainstorm some ideas for talks the group would like to see in the future.

We'll meet at 5:30 PM for a chance to network and then start the talk at 6:00 PM. There will be pizza - so come hungry!
